Is it for me?
This course is for you, if you have an interest in Finance and Accountancy, and would like to gain higher qualifications and eventually pursue a career in this field. You should have a reasonable grasp of basic Mathematics and written English.
What job could I get afterwards?
You could work in a junior capacity in a clerical or similar role.
What other opportunities will I have?
You could continue your studies and gain a partial or full AAT Qualification.
Subject to further testing, you would be eligible to apply for the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, and possibly to follow this with Level 3 and 4 studies.
Where will I learn?
You will learn in dedicated classrooms and computer rooms, and be taught by an experienced tutor.
When will I learn?
You can choose from one half day or evening session of 3 hours per week.
What qualifications or experience do I need to start this course (entry requirements)?
Entry qualifications will vary across professional awarding bodies and course levels. Depending on the course, applicants may be asked to meet one or more of the following criteria: suitable work experience; passes in academic qualifications; qualified to a suitable level within the awarding body (eg to have passed AAT level 2 before moving to level 3); successful completion of a diagnostic assessment; suitable references. Some candidates may also be invited to attend an interview.
Successful completion of this course is by passing a Computer Based Assessment.
