If you are from a dance background and have a passion for dance, this degree has been designed to enable you to further your development as an innovative and creative performer and set you up for a sustained career within the dance industry.
With strong emphasis on a daily physical practice of embodied movement and dance techniques, the course starts with the body, looks at choreographers and incorporates other art forms and modes of performance, site-specific and improvisation.

Access to HE Diploma, pass overall with 60 credits. A minimum of 45 credits at Level 3, with Merit must be achieved.
GCSE English Language equivalent, if required, must be achieved from additional units.
Successful applicants to this course will be required to attend an audition.

We welcome applications from those studying the Advanced Diploma qualifications and will consider them as an entry requirement for our undergraduate courses. Our University welcomes applications from mature applicants who demonstrate academic potential. We usually require some evidence of recent academic study, for example completion of an access course, however relevant work and life experience may also be considered.
