If you’re looking for your next step or a new challenge, this is a fantastic opportunity to bring your career to E.ON.  We’re looking for an experience Finance Analyst to join our Finance team as an Energy Finance Analyst on a fixed term contract, initially for 12 months.

You’ll use your financial analytical skills to ensure all the necessary transactions are entered into the monthly accounts, including validating payroll and agency costs, raising journal requests and ensuring correct accounting procedures are followed and validated.

No two days will be the same from partnering other teams, providing insight, analysis and reporting to senior stakeholders, to supporting forecasting processes and commercially optimising business performance.

This is a hugely rewarding role and both a great entry point into E.ON as well as the Energy industry.  This role will really give you excellent exposure to different parts of our business.

Qualifications

What we need from you:

  • Experience in Financial Analysis and reporting
  • Demonstrate understanding of core financial processes, management accounting, forecasting and reporting.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to build working relationships with various parts of the business.
  • Numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and information and present in a clear and logical format. Good levels of financial and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills

It would be great if you had:

  • Degree educated and/or working towards relevant professional or accounting qualification
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at Senior Leadership.
  • Proven financial business modelling skills utilising Microsoft Excel with a history of using the analysis to influence decisions.

The salary advertised is subject to a review effective from 1 April 2018. These negotiations are pending.
