Infrastructure Services – BIM and Digital Engineering

We are looking for a BIM Technician to join our team in Euston.

Skanska Infrastructure Services (IS) are looking to recruit a Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Digital Engineering (DE) Technician to work alongside the BIM & DE Manager and Coordinator within the rail sector of our business to support this prestigious industry leading rail project.   

You’ll:

  • Be responsible for modelling survey and scan data, which in turn will see them maintain and update an accurate Project Information Model (PIM) and Asset Information Model (AIM) in line with the project and client standards aligning with the Skanska UK BIM Policy and Skanska’s BSI Kite Mark for BIM Design & Construction.
  • Closely with the Infrastructure Services Digital Engineering (IS DE) Team and the projects teams to understand the needs of the business and customers and will keep abreast of the latest tools and techniques available in the market to ensure the strategy is market leading and deliverable.
  • Be responsible for supporting the BIM & DE Strategy for IS which makes us work smarter, enhancing performance on both current and future contracts by adding value for ourselves and our clients

We’re looking for:

  • Educated to HNC or higher
  • Sustained Continuing Professional Development. 
  • Experience across all stages of a project lifecycle. 
  • Experience of Information Management (IM) and Common Data Environments (CDE)
  • Experience of large complex projects in the rail, highways, water or energy sectors. 
  • Experience of managing the challenges associated with multi-disciplinary teams. 
  • Understanding of industry standards and protocols to support EIR and BEP requirements.
