Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a new service, Mentally Healthy Leeds, which is aimed to improve public mental health in the city. The service is funded by Leeds City Council.

The Mentally Healthy Leeds service aim is to reduce mental health inequalities and improve the mental health and wellbeing of communities who are most at risk of poor mental health. The service will use asset-based community development approaches to improve protective factors and reduce risk factors associated with mental health and wellbeing.

You will deliver activities with targeted communities and the wider workforce to reduce risk factors associated with mental health and wellbeing.

You will have experience of: motivating others to change their behaviour with positive outcomes, delivering structured group learning successfully and working with vulnerable or marginalised communities successfully.
