Job Description

Applications are invited for a GP with Special Interest (GPwSI) in Rheumatology, working as part of LCFT’s Central Lancashire Moving Well Service. We are looking for a dynamic forward thinking individual to work alongside our Rheumatology, Pain, and MSK colleagues. This is a multi-disciplinary service where a true person centred ethos is conveyed and shared decision making with patients endorsed. Requisite skills include passion, dedication, an ability to role model and demonstrate excellent clinical, leadership and communication skills. The post holder will also create the environment for authentic shared decision making with people using the service and amongst those who deliver care and treatment.

Central Lancashire Moving Well is a community-based service providing integrated musculoskeletal, rheumatological, pain & CFS/ME care for the CCGs of Greater Preston & Chorley and South Ribble. The Rheumatology team is based at the Minerva Health Centre, Preston, with out-patient clinics also held in Chorley. The post-holder will be committed to developing the team and the Moving Well service to deliver high quality care for the locality.
