Full-Time HRIS Support Analyst

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a HRIS Support Analyst on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract permanent, full-time basis.

Purpose of the Role

Provides effective support for all DLG HR Systems business and HR administrative users. This is a specialist role that requires a blend of traditional first line support skills as well as more complex second analysis, diagnosis of complex issues together with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Additionally, the HRIS Support Analyst will be expected to contribute to the development, testing and implementation of BAU change requests and project activities where appropriate.

What being a HRIS Support Analyst involves:

  • Apply reasoning to analyse the relationship between different parts of problems/issues/situations to distinguish causes from symptoms.
  • Effective incident management, keeping involved parties updated with progress and keeping the flow of communication open.
  • Diagnose and resolve appropriate incidents at first point of contact to agreed SLA targets.
  • Proactively engage teams/individuals with regular Systems Support touch points to ensure that changing business needs continue to be met.
  • Ensure that the security relating to all HR systems is carefully managed in line with documented processes and observing least privilege principles.
  • Conduct & evidence regular user entitlement review to provide assurance to risk and audit that access to HR systems remains appropriate and up to date.
  • Monitor system process,integrations taking appropriate steps to prevent escalation of local failures.

Skills and Qualities you’ll need:

  • Very strong interpersonal and communications skills with a strong customer focus
  • Being able to write clearly to ensure documentation can be used and understood easily
  • Experience in computing, problem solving, and/or troubleshooting
  • Current and relevant IT and helpdesk skills
  • Awareness of and development of industry standards with regards to incident management, eg ITIL
  • Ability to analyse, diagnose and fix a diverse range of systems issues
  • Process Re-engineering
  • An understanding of the software and equipment used across HR

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday
