As part of this, we are currently recruiting for an exciting new opportunity as a Marketing Effectiveness Analyst based within our Bromley office on a permanent basis.

Purpose of Role

Help the Direct Line for Business marketing team understand the impact individual media efficiency has on performance as well as overall campaign analysis. Helping to drive optimisation through innovative analysis and evaluation tools

Work closely with analysts from other specialist areas to understand business performance and drive decision making to enhance trading and strategic decision making

Support on wider annual planning tasks to ensure that media efficiency and ROI is firmly embedded in the strategic decision making process.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the Direct Line For Business Marketing by providing insight through reporting to ensure that the business meets its marketing objectives across multiple marketing lines & channels. Ensure robust knowledge of the data sources and key drivers of marketing efficiency.
  • To help plan, drive and deliver media testing throughout the year working closely with media and measurement agency as well as incorporating view from other stakeholders
  • Work closely with reporting & insight teams outside of DL4B and the specialist functions within DL4B to help them understand key marketing performance drivers and provide them with key insights to influence and guide decision making.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with matrix partners at all management levels in order to: set joint objectives that are regularly measured and monitored; provide direction and facilitate effective challenges to business performance
  • To interpret the analysis in order to create concise, insightful communications. Use insights and experience to help devise, develop, implement and maintain a user-friendly bespoke evaluation tool/dashboard that helps provide data led insight.
  • To continually accumulate and develop marketing effectiveness knowledge and expertise.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the business, our processes and how our customers behave to understand the real world context of our KPIs and insight is actionable. Ensure this knowledge remains up-to-date by becoming a key member of the marketing team and the wider business.

    Skills/Qualities you will need

  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Forecasting, Problem solving, numerate & analytical skills
  • Knowledge of using analytics tools such as Adobe sitecatalyst, tableau, google analytics or similar
  • Knowledge of econometric modelling and related methodolgies would be advantageous
  • Programming skills would be advantageous
  • Self motivated and a Fast learner
  • Stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Good planning, organisation and time management skills together with an ability to approach tasks in a logical and methodical manner
  • Competent with Excel, PowerPoint and Word

35 per week, Monday to Friday
