As part of this, we are now recruiting an Operational Supplier Performance Analyst to join the team in our Bromley Office on a full time, 12 month fixed term contract / secondment basis.

Purpose of Role

The key accountability of the Supplier Performance Analyst within Logistics is to support the Operational Supplier Managers in the day to day management of key Operational Supplier performance for all products, services and transactions including cost management, service delivery, network capacity, management information, quality control and risk management. You will support the Supplier Performance Managers by monitoring and analysing performance across a range of suppliers on a day to day basis to include delivery, cost, SLAs and capacity and will be responsible for information collection, data management and reporting, managing the helpdesk function and supporting service issues and incident management.

As a Supplier Performance Analyst you will be working within Logistics and will be supporting all mail, courier, archive, print, supplies and travel suppliers/services reporting into the Operational Supplier Manager.

What being a Supplier Performance Analyst involves

  • Understanding of  Logistics related operational contracts and services
  • Providing analyst support to the Supplier Performance Managers to ensure that the operational services operate within budget and contractual terms with a constant drive for service improvement, ensuring supplier’s are meeting the necessary service performance and resolving any remedial actions
  • Managing the Logistics Helpdesk, provide first contact and escalation for logging and tracking issues and incidents
  • Providing service support to the Operational Performance managers for end-to-end incident management with suppliers, liaising with business users and supplier operational representatives to ensure quick resolution of issues and documented audit trail
  • Ensuring compliance of all governance, risk, audit and best practice standards are met across the Logistics supplier base.
  • Supporting cross functional project and programmes
  • Being responsible for providing improvements in services deliver service and cost efficiency opportunities
  • Supporting in the Development  and delivery of MI to underpin operational performance
  • Monitoring budgetary spend to forecast, incorporating accruals, identifying and investigating budgetary deviancies escalating or applying corrective action where appropriate.
  • Building relationship with internal customers and operational supplier contacts

Skills and Qualities you’ll need:

  • Ability to communicate across multiple areas and levels including external suppliers
  • Experience or knowledge of operational supply chains, supply management, incident management or production environments and processes would be an advantage
  • Ability to collate, analyse and present data
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office/Excel is essential (the use of other analytical tools would be an advantage)
  • Experience of driving Continuous Improvement across operations or suppliers
  • Effective team player with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and business partners

Hours: 35 Hours per week (Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm)

There will be a requirement to travel occasionally.
