The Team

The strategic purpose of Knowledge Management (KM) is to ensure that all those involved in delivering legal advice to clients have access to the knowledge and information they require to deliver a technically excellent, efficient service.

Know-how Paralegal will be working in the Corporate Department covering core corporate finance, investment management, commercial and restructuring & insolvency .

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a busy Knowledge Management team with a diverse range of work. The applicant will have the benefit of full training and support, and exposure to the work of both knowledge managers and fee earners in the wider corporate department.

Who we’re looking for

You will have a Legal Practice Course qualification and basic understanding of general corporate law. Ideally you will have already gained some legal experience, however this is not essential for those who can demonstrate their passion for corporate law.

You will have good legal research skills, including online sources such as Lexis Nexis, Westlaw, PLC.

At BLP we focus on exceptional client service, therefore successful applicants will have excellent attention to detail, along with organisational skills and the ability to operate independently. The role will also involve liaising with fee-earners and partners, thus excellent communication skills are essential.
