You’ll lead and support the Operational Excellence Programme, handling everything from problem solving and process redesign to implementing and coaching on new ways of working.

Best of all, you’ll build your knowledge by supporting other members of the team and meeting programme challenges head on.

Here’s what you’ll be doing as a Senior Lean Expert

Putting your experience to the test, you’ll support and drive improvement projects that have a measurable impact on business performance while also supporting your colleagues and backing our overall programme.

You’ll also get together with managers and advisors from a range of specialties to take a good look at what we do, raise important questions and explore new opportunities.

We are looking for a self-starter with strong influencing and communication skills who can drive the application of our OE approach and ways of working throughout the E.ON Business. Someone with an expert knowledge of the McKinsey five lens approach and solid coaching background would flourish in this role and gain valuable diverse people skills.

To help us make the right decisions, you’ll work with expert statistical analytical models. And with the right information in hand, you’ll design new processes and rework others to add value to the business.

Qualifications

What we need from you:
·Demonstrable expertise in problem solving, use of statistics and
Implementation skills – working with the process owners, managers and staff.
·Change management and effective coaching skills.
·Ability to build effective relationships to engage and influence key stakeholders in successful delivery of OE approach.
·An Operational Excellence (or similar) background.
·Demonstrate business acumen and ability to understand performance reports, basic statistics and opportunities.
·Experience in performance management.
·A full UK driving licence, and flexible to travel to other E.ON UK sites with up to four overnight stays each week.

It would be great if you have:
·Experience of the McKinsey five lens approach.
·Extended knowledge of Lean Methodology (across balanced view of Customer, Process Efficiency and end-to-end flow, Performance Management, Organisation & Skills and Mind-sets & Behaviours).
·Advanced statistical analysis including hypothesis tests and reporting.
·Best practise grounding in continual improvement and working in a larger programme.
