Full-Time Transformation Consultant

As part of this, we are now recruiting a Transformation Consultant to join the team on a full time, permanent basis.

What being the Transformation Consultant involves:

  • Working within a dynamic and innovative team within our Motor business area to deliver change which supports our key strategies, to be a smart and efficient manufacturer, and to lead and disrupt the market.
  • Creating and driving new propositions for our customers by working within the wider motor industry sector, helping us to be a great retailer by collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders, and by developing the way we use technology to promote the use of web-portals and inter-active provision of motor services
  • Supporting the implementation of initiatives and process improvements or enhancements which will improve efficiency and be an enabler for the launch of both new and existing products and processes e.g. retail product and claims fulfilment solutions
  • Building on existing experience and knowledge in the technology arena to support the integration of systems and services across the business
  • Driving consistent and improved system compliance across all networks to ensure we meet our regulatory responsibilities
  • Ensuring that departments and suppliers consider the customer as central to project work, ensuring compliance with the principles /outcome of Treating the Customer Fairly (TCF).

  • Highlighting risks, issues or events that may affect the delivery of BAU or projects / programmes through effective analysis and communication.

  • Controlling and managing operational costs

  • Actively engaging with DLG business colleagues and external suppliers to promote innovation and positive change

  • Identifying, owning and managing the risks involved in running our business appropriate to the role, in line with Direct Line Group risk

Skills & qualities you’ll need:

  • Prior experience with exceeding key customer metrics, ensuring that the customer experience is at the heart of everything we do
  • Previous experience in a motor industry preferred
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Good eye for detail
  • Experienced in taking ownership for your own and your collective team resource so it is utilised to meet customer demands and achieve business SLA’s
  • Home Working is Beneficial
  • Driving to Non DLG Offices is an essential part of the role.

Hours: 35 Hours (Monday – Friday 9am-5pm)
