Nominate entrepreneurs and professionals for The Entrepreneurial of Excellence Award at this year’s National Diversity Awards.
This award will recognise the achievements of an enterprising individuals who has created a viable business, demonstrating expert skills and showcasing entrepreneurship.
The UK’s Largest Diversity Awards in association with Microsoft is a celebration on the outstanding achievements of Entrepreneurs, Positive Role Models and Community Organisations.
On September 20th 2013, Britain’s most inspirational people will gather at The Queens Hotel, Leeds to honour the rich tapestry of our nation.
The prestigious black tie event will recognise individuals and groups from grass root communities who have contributed to creating a more diverse and inclusive society.
The concept for The National Diversity Awards arose when The Diversity Group identified an urgent need for more positive role models from underrepresented backgrounds to be actively promoted, empowering and inspiring the wide breadth of communities across The UK.
Our aims and what we inspire to accomplish by holding these ceremonies
- The promotion of Equality and Diversity
- To create role models from all sections of society
- The elimination of discrimination on the grounds of Age, gender, gender identity, disability, sexual orientation, religion or Race
- Celebrate the achievements of people, community/charity organisations and companies that strive for a more inclusive society.
- Highlight how diverse communities have contributed to the economy of The United Kingdom
The ceremony is sponsored by major organisations including The Co-op, PWC and Sky – companies that are all striving to build a more diverse and stable workforce.
The awards have also gained support from the likes of Stephen Fry, Singing Sensation Misha B and Paralympic Champion Jody Cundy. Big Brother Star Brian Dowling will host the event alongside CBeebies presenter Cerrie Burnell.
Nominations are open for The Entrepreneurial of Excellence Award in the following categories: Gender, Age, Disability, LGBT and Race/Faith/Religion.
This Award recognises individuals who have best demonstrated managerial expertise in assembling resources, creating an organisation, decision making and creatively solving problems
