This foundation degree will give you essential, cutting-edge skills and knowledge to pursue a career in media production. Elements of audio and video post production, studio techniques and routines as well as computer generated imagery (CGI) will be delivered to an advanced level to prepare you for work in this field. Further to this, typical areas of study include visual design, the physics of sound, still and video imaging, and animation. Delivered jointly with the School of Sound Recording (SSR), and developed in close partnership with industry employers, this degree combines strong practical and technical emphasis with core theoretical study. On completion of this course you will have the option to progress to a full BSc (Hons) degree at MMU.
