Wow…. Where to start….
From inspirational success stories to amazing heart felt poems, The National Diversity Pre-Awards Event last Friday reiterated to everyone exactly why this life changing awards ceremony was set up in the first place: To recognize amazing people and help them to achieve their dreams.
Through the power of believing in themselves, and the recognition that The National Diversity Awards gave them, last years chosen award winners went on to express to the 100+ strong audience what they have achieved in the past 12 months. All of the heartfelt speeches given that day were expressed with passion, appreciation and determination to carry on with the uplifting work that they do. The audience were in complete awe.
We also have to Thank our amazing sponsors. Each and every organisation that have chosen to support The National Diversity Awards Ceremony in one way or another, were represented by some of the most professional, kind mannered individuals I think our team have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They too, gave impressive speeches which again were a striking representation of the organisations that they attended on behalf of. We even had one of our sponsors giving The National Diversity Awards their full backing for a further 3 years!
And not to forget Microsoft Limited! What an organisation! What a team! From creating name badges for our guests, to providing everyone with an astounding buffet and making sure that refreshments were on hand at all times, they really did do The National Diversity Awards proud! They have been with us since the beginning and couldn’t do more for us as an organisation if they tried. Thank You Microsoft.
After the event had ceased, the speeches had drawn to a close, and the sun was setting creating an iconic vision across London, all of our guests including Shortlisted Nominees from 2012, Sponsors from both 2012 & 2013 and our chosen Award Winners spent an hour or two networking and swapping business cards. Individuals from humble backgrounds and respective individuals from major organisations starting what could blossom into an astounding business relationship.
Exactly what The National Diversity Awards had set out to achieve.
With over 100 nominations coming through our system each and every day in the run up to the closing date (19th July) we are expecting to see alot more individuals & organisations rise to the top, and be recognized at The National Diversity Awards 2013 in Leeds.
